11.4.4 The construction areas shall not exceed 10% of the total area of
the typical floor and maximum area 950.0 square meters, with a
minimum setback of 1.5 meter from the building roof edge.
11.4.5 Swimming pool and pergola shall not be included in calculating
the percentage construction.

11.4.6 The maximum height of a swimming pool deck within rooftop
floor shall be 2.4 meters.

11.4.7 The maximum clear height of a gymnasium within rooftop floor
shall be 3.6 meters. (figure -33)
11.4.8 It is not allowed to use the installed facilities at the rooftop for
any kind of commercial purposes whatever its nature might be.

11.4.9 Elevators are allowed to serve the rooftop floor functions.
11.4.10 Advertising boards may be placed on the rooftop in accordance
with the requirements of the Emirate advertising by-laws and to
be verified by the Authority.
11.4.11 Unpleasant elements such as antenna etc. shall be screened even
from higher levels of rooftop floor.
